Ante

There are many games that start with blinds while some start with ante. Blinds can be placed by only two people while ante has to be placed by all the players playing the game. Ante is of small amount, which is displayed on the title bar of the table. The bet has to be placed upon the full amount placed in the pot. After that, five rounds of betting are played.

Third Street

This is the first round of the game in which each player receives three cards one by one. Two of these cards are face down and the one is face up. The player having the card of lowest rank has to start taking actions. He has to make either exact or full bet and this bet is made on lower increment. The round goes on in clockwise direction.

Fourth Street

In this round, one card is given to each player and it is a face up card. The betting has to be started by that player who has face up cards of highest poker value. If there is a player who has two jacks and another player has two queens, then the player having two queens has to start betting. The round goes on in clockwise direction.

Fifth Street

This is a round in which each player receives one face up card and the player having the cards of highest poker value has to start taking action. From this round onwards, players have to place bets on the higher increment.

Sixth Street

This is a round in which each player receives one card with face up and the player having the card of highest poker value has to start taking action.

Seventh Street

This is the last round of betting in which each player receives one card with face down. The player having the face up cards of highest poker value has to start taking actions.

Showdown

After the last round of betting, if there is only one active player, he is declared as the winner and there is no need of showdown. If number of active players is more then the player who was the last to take action in the previous round has to start betting. If none of the players has taken any action, then the player to the left of the dealer has to start the showdown. The player having the hand of highest rank is declared as winner.
